Gina Jeffreys
Gina Jeffreys (also known as Gina Jeffries, Gina Hillenberg and Gina McCormack) is an Australian country singer. She was born on 1 April 1968 at Toowoomba, Queensland. She has often been called Australia’s “Queen of Country” and has won numerous Australian country music awards.
She has been nominated for “Best Country Album” at the ARIA Music Awards, four times.
In 2007, she was awarded Best Independent Country Release at the Australian Independent Record (AIR) Awards, for her album Walks of Life.
Gina Jeffreys is married to Rod McCormack and has one child.
Her debut album ‘The Flame’ winning her first ‘Golden Guitar Award’ in Tamworth, New South Wales. Gina is one the most in-demand country singers in Australia.
Her international highlights have included Performing in Nashville, China and the Tour of Duty Concert in East Timor.
Gina has also been one of the most in-demand performers in Australia, both live and on television, appearing at everything from civic receptions, etc. Gina’s time takes up working for The Luekaemia Foundation helping sick children which has been well over many years.
