Alan Warner

English guitarist with “The Foundations” during the sixties.

The group charted with “Baby Now That I’ve Found You”.

Warner was one of the founding members of The Foundations who had hits with “Baby, Now That I’ve Found You” and “Build Me Up Buttercup”.

He played lead guitar. After the Foundations broke up, in the early 1970s Warner went on to form the progressive rock band, Pluto.

As well as being a musician, guitarist, guitar teacher, Warner is also an author of various guitar instruction books and instructional videos. The first one was called The Guitar Cook Book, the first of a succession of similar books.
