Amanda Baker
New Zealand born guitarist and vocalist.
Born in New Zealand and raised Perth, Western Australia. Amanda has been entertaining audiences from a very young age.
Independent singer, songwriter Amanda Baker has been described as a “diva” due to her soulful vocal style and command of the stage.
Her trademark phrase “I’m not here to be a princess, I’m here to be the Queen” taken from her single “The Queen”. A the slogan on her award winning T-shirts.
Powerful soul/blues vocalist and songwriter, Amanda Baker, was voted “Best Live Act” at the Music Oz Awards, staged at the Enmore Theatre on Thursday 22 November. Amanda was a finalist in the “Blues” and “World Music” categories at the 2006 Music Oz Awards.
