Andy Upton was an Australian singer-songwriter from Adelaide, South Australia. In 1976 and 77, Upton released three singles, all of which peaked within the top 100 on the Australian Kent Music Report.

Andy Upton was the lead singer of “Brandee” formed in South Australia. Later going solo he had the release of three singles recorded in 1976 at the “Pepper Studios” and recorded “Stop in the name of love” at the ‘Armstrong Studios” in Melbourne.

He also is the writer of the “Here’s Humphrey” theme song which was known Australia wide. Also working for 5KA during the 80’s as a jingle writer.

Finally getting out of the music scene for some time then later to return in around 2000.

Just lately he appeared with “The Boys” as lead singer at the “Jim Slade’s Baby Boomers Rock Adelaide” with a sensational appearance fronting the band. A great night.
