Above DAVE MILLER SET Miming on Brisbane TV, early 1970. this was at the height of the DMS’ popularity. Guy Fawkes was still selling, we were booked into march…..dave was still disbanding the group. our last single would flop. it’s B side is a classic, though, and a sampling of what would happen in Blackfeather musically.
Seasons of Change, The Rat and Long Legged Loverly were all written in the late DMS when leith was on bass. after the gig, i’d jot down the idea/riff we’d jammed on, on stage. this how the opening riffs to LLL and The Rat happened. the guitar is a Gibson Les Paul Junior. 1960.
