Girls on the Avenue

Girls on the Avenue is the second studio album by Australian musician Richard Clapton released in 1975. It include the singles Girls on the Avenue, Travelling Down the Castlereagh and Down the Road. The album peaked at number 33 on the Kent Music Report.

The song Girls on the Avenue reached at number 4 on the Kent Music Report. Girls on the Avenue” was originally released as the B-side of “Travelling Down the Castlereagh”. After considerable radio play it was named the A-side. The album was produced by Richard Batchens who later produced Australian band Sherbet albums. The album was re-released to CD in 1990 and it included three bonus tracks.
