The Cellar (Venue)
The Cellar Jazz Club was one of Adelaide’s most popular venues in the early sixties.
Mainly a venue for jazz and folk featuring performers that would later go on to great success.
Some of the greats included the names such as Ron Carson, Bob Bertles, Billy Ross, Freddy Paris, Bob Gebert, Keith Sterling, Michael Pank, Darcy Wright, David Mcrea, Inez Amaya, Joy Yates, Joe Jenkins and so many more.
One could say that The Cellar was important to Adelaide and for all starting their own career’s as mentioned for many entertainers.
