John Forrest

An Australian guitarist and vocalist, John is well known in Adelaide, South Australia.

John’s early influences were The Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, The Hollies and The Bee Gees.

Later influences include Yes, The Eagles, LRB and Steely Dan.

John has always been inspired by strong vocal harmonies.

The Raymond Parker Occupation
Formed in Adelaide, South Australia in 1968.
This was the reformation of “The London Criers”
The group played venues such as:

The Princeton Club: Burnside Town Hall.
Komotion Club: Adelaide City.
Half Way Out: The Highway Inn.

The group included some hard rock as it was known at the time
such as Hendrix: – Cream: – and the lighter numbers that included
The Beatles: that mainly from the “Sgt Peppers” album and also Procal Harem and many more:
