Stuart Fraser
A sad day 2/12/2019 Australian guitarist Stuart Fraser has died after a three year battle with lung cancer. He was best known for his role in Noiseworks and the John Farnham ’s band. Musicians who knew him by his nickname Chet have paid tribute.
Ross Wilson recalled how he would “marvel at Fraser’s seemingly effortless, inspirational guitar playing.”
Noiseworks are an Australian hard rock band formed in Sydney in 1986 with bass guitarist Steve Balbi, guitarist Stuart Fraser, drummer Kevin Nicol, keyboardist Justin Stanley and lead vocalist Jon Stevens.
