Bruce Heaft

An Australian Drummer.

Born in Adelaide, South Australia.

Bruce has been one of Adelaide’s most respected drummers during his career.

Bruce over the years has worked with stars that include, Johnny O’keefe, John Farnham, Vicki Forrest, Bev Harrell, Roland Storm etc.

He began his career in the school band with bassist John Summerton in “The Spokesmen” and “Detours”. Both of their music careers changed direction with Bruce joining “The Third Party” with Roger Dee and recording the hit “The Russian Spy And I” in the sixties.

He has played with bands that include, “The Esquires” with Bobby Hunter, also “Showtime” and “The Elvis Tribute Band”.

Bruce over the years has worked with stars that include, Johnny O’keefe, John Farnham, Vicki Forrest, Bev Harrell, Roland Storm etc. Bruce also worked in Sydney based band “Johnny O’keefe Memorial Show” for the christmas seasons 1994, 1995, 1996 at the Royal Coach and The Akaba hotels.

From 2001 to 2003 Bruce formed the very successful “Showtime Band” and produced the musical “Rock The Decades” for the christmas seasons performing at “The Bridgeway Hotel”.

Bruce has now settled into the role as drummer of Roger Ball’s “Fahrenheit 451”.
